The Nuwara Eliya area, with the highest tea gardens on the island of Ceylon, is home to this tea with its ribbed leaves and coppery red infusion. A spicy tea with low caffeine and tannins perfect for an afternoon.
Ingredients:
Black tea
Tea preparation:
1 small teaspoon of tea per cup. Pour the tea into a strainer or directly into a cup and pour 95°C water. Allow to infuse for 2-3 minutes. Then remove the strainer or pour off.
