Pu Erh tea comes from the Yunnan region of China. It is also called red tea because of the colour in the cup. It is a post-fermented tea with a characteristic earthy, slightly sweet taste and a very intense, rather pungent aroma.

Tea preparation:
One levelled teaspoon per cup. Pour the tea into a sieve or straight into a cup and pour hot water at 70-80 °C. Allow to infuse for 1-3 minutes and then remove the strainer or pour off the tea. Extend the steeping time for the next infusion. The water may then be a little warmer.
