Finca Noruega is part of the Los Naranjos group, led by retired agronomy professor Sigfredo Corado. The farm is part of the Renacer (Spanish for "Reborn") program, a technical field school and training program for coffee producers to learn about more efficient farm management practices. Field technicians help farmers use these practices to maintain soil fertility and the environment while working to improve the yield and quality of their coffee.

Los Naranjos is working to elevate the quality of Salvadoran coffee to become one of the world's leading coffee producers. They are trying to do this through several projects - one of which is to show visitors coffee production, with an educational center on one of their farms for visitors to sleep among the coffee trees, pick coffee cherries and visit the washing station. Another project is at Noruega Farm, where there is a research and development centre to help local farmers grow and sell coffee using environmentally friendly practices.
