More information about coffee in the description below. More
This coffee comes from the Gedeb district, which is located in the southeast of the Gedeo region of Ethiopia. The high altitude and long history of coffee cultivation make Gedeb a unique area with a great flavour profile. Coffees from here are known for their floral notes and lemony acidity. Banko Gotiti is one of the most remote villages, with several coffee growing communities and washing stations.
This coffee comes from small farmers who have farms of approximately 2 hectares. After harvesting, they deliver the coffee cherries to the Banko Gotiti washing station. The station has approximately 780 members from the surrounding areas. At the washing station, the cherries are sorted, peeled, washed and left to dry on African beds on which they are often turned over to ensure even drying.
