The coffee comes from the Candela region, near the Barú volcano. The coffee is grown and processed by several farms belonging to the Gallardo family: Finca La Santa, Finca Zambrano, Finca Santa Clara and Jurutungo. The Gallardo family farms have been known for their high quality coffee since 1960. The family tradition has given birth to a coffee that will amaze you with its lemony acidity, a hint of jasmine flowers and a sweet caramel aftertaste.
SHB - Strictly Hard Bean refers to coffee from higher elevations. The coffee matures more slowly and the beans are harder.
