More information about the coffee in the description below. More
Peruvian coffees are really quite diverse, grown from north to south, including the Machu Picchu region. Small-scale farmers grow the beans with love and care on their small plantations, and the coffee is then processed in cooperatives.
Tres Mosqueteros coffee comes from the Chanchamayo region, where most of the coffee comes from small family farms tended by descendants of the Indians. The coffee trees are planted in the shade of the rainforest on the slopes of the Andes, which means that the coffee fruit ripens slowly and develops a delicious full flavour. Local farmers grow coffee using ancient farming techniques in harmony with nature to interfere as little as possible with the local ecosystem.
The coffee flavour is full-bodied with cocoa and nutty notes with subtle hints of roasted chestnuts.
