More information about the coffee in the description below. More
On the Indonesian island of Sumatra, the arabica variety began to be cultivated in the 18th century under Dutch colonial rule. Previously, there was no regional designation for coffee, but the ethnic group involved in coffee cultivation gave the coffee the name Mandheling.
The Grade I marking in the coffee name indicates the exclusive quality of the beans, which must meet very strict criteria to qualify for this designation. The perfect selection of beans guarantees maximum enjoyment of a wide range of flavours.
Kopi Indonesia Mandheling Grade I is a strong and complex coffee. It will captivate you with a subtly bitter aroma of spices with a slight hint of tropical fruits. The sweet and sour taste with notes of cedar and fruit is interspersed with aftertaste of flowers, chocolate and nutmeg.
